shallow ground

one step out beneath the other
it faded quick
crashing down i went
holding out my arms
holding in my breath
i caught myself
but scabbed my knee
shallow ground
was to shallow for me

Not a realization

Case is not knowing
Fact is not caring
Mystery outgoing
Ambitions internal
Figure it out
And let it be
Let it bleed, so to say
And keep up not caring
Forever is long
Stop looking
Desert bleak
City smoggy
Ambition internal
Now out going
Towards the motel
Back behind
From start of day
Go in the door
After key unlocks
Plop yourself on the bed
With an awaiting friend
Lowest click, dimmest light
Cigarette lit ashen
Needles strewn about
Spoon awaiting
Drawers empty
But a bible
One nights pay
A low income
Embers outside
The window peering
Above the air conditioner unit
Thats all we see
Bloody trails
Blacken bruises
Missed hits
In the heartbreak motel

I Love You

You don’t open up.
It make’s thing’s oh so difficult.
I tried to tell you.
That it will set you free.
To speak the feeling’s you wish you could speak.
You build up,
congested self you eat.
-Say I love you,
it will set you free.
They already know,
they know already.
You complicate thing’s.
-Say I love you,
because you do.
It’s not a lie,
it’s the truth,
it’s how you feel.
It will set you free,
I am telling you.

The Ghost

Crystal ghost is down my throat again
pounding at my heart
I regain power again
to undo all my faults
Time time time
is all I have
Days to plan
my system go

On the train

I Am on the train

Headed for San Francisco

From the suburbs

Takes 45 minutes

I'm on the second, or third car

It is all but empty

Three people to the far end

And as we get closer,

The more stops we take

The more the people

Will fill the car seats-

I am all dressed up

With nail polish and all

With lipstick, with eyeliner

A Black dress over a slip,

Black stokings

I'm wearing my best shoes

And Iv'e bought new glasses

Wearing a light suit coat

Brought my suitcase,

A bag,

My computer,

And jornal books, with books to read as well

Headed for San Francisco

On a train

From the suburbs

To visit a certain somebody

For 45 min I sit

And watch people get on,

Hear it get louder

Wait for my stop

You can imagine

All the people

The different people

Going in and out

I sit in the last seat

And see all

What ever seat is mine

Empty from my departure

5 stops ago

It get's so congested now

No one can get through the door

On my way to San Francisco

From the suburbs

A 45 minute Bart ride

South under the bay

Where everyone inbetween lurks

Through the doorways

Of a train car

My lover

Dear Robert,

You make my blind eye see shades and pieces of light

In the darkest days of my life

Colors fade up in contrast

I can get use to this life style

And intersect time

Days are short

When I wake up late

To get closer even so

To see you every Friday night

All weekend long

The best times

Of my week

If only they were longer

I make them so

By waking up early

To drink your coffee

With Irish cream

To cure my hang over

And to feel your kiss

And something so much more

Awaits

As we are up to our third cup

Things get closer, kisses, and strokes

The best thing ever

Come from you

It's not hard to believe

For me anymore

While you you whisper in my ear

Sweet loving things

That make blush

You are a special kind of someone

Who deserves the world around

To be beautious

Every day, and every moment

You have a smile

Which people love

And I will take care of you

For everyone

The night was over

The night was over

It was a great night

And when it was over I was sad

But there is another night to come

In short distant time

I hold my breath

And count the days, the hours

The minutes, the seconds

For fantastic

Explosions

The heart can barely understand

And in this present second

Yes anxiety

For the counting

Is over exhausting
